Client Support WIKI Update

The Adult Interface client technical support WIKI is undergoing a major update, allowing us to better serve our clients by presenting our support documentation is an easy to use and concise manner.
Our updated WIKI will provide streaming video tutorials, along with step-by-step tutorials and screen shots. Clients can log in to the updated WIKI, located at http://wiki.adultinterface.com, using the same credentials used to access the previous WIKI. Both WIKIs will remain active until all documentation has been transferred and updated. Our existing WIKI is still located at http://adultinterface.com/support/wiki.

Adult site webmasters recognize the need for tracking and validating “link backs” whether paid or traded, this is why we have developed a free simple easy to use tool for verifying reciprocal links. Simply unzip the included files, make the necessary configuration file modifications, and upload to your server!
The reciprocal link verifier checks to see if your “link back” html appears on the sites listed in your configuration file, and displays the results via browser based output. You also have the ability to set expiration dates for the site “link backs”, which will be flagged in the browser output, letting you know the “link back” is no longer necessary or required.

Introduction of 2257 Document and Model Management

The Adult Interface is pleased to announce the completion and integration of our 2257 Document and Model management features. Adult site webmasters recognize the necessity for accurate and secure storage of model information and documentation required for compliance with US CODE: Title 18,2257. Record keeping requirements. The Adult Interface 2257 Document and Model management features reach beyond the basic functionality of simple record keeping, into the realm of complete integration with managed site image and video content.
The Adult Interface 2257/Model management gives webmasters the ability to input the performer contact information and details, upload images of multiple forms of identification, generate an up to date list of content in which the performer is tagged in, and produce a complete PDF document containing the model’s information, identification documents, and a list of all tagged images and videos. It is no longer necessary for webmasters to purchase expensive stand alone software for 2257 document and model information management.

Introduction of IP Perma Banning

The Adult Interface has incorporated Permanent IP Address Banning, in addition to its brute force hack prevention temporary IP address banning. The permanent IP address banning feature will fully block undesired IP addresses, or partial IP address octets from site access, presenting a forbidden page error. This proves particularly useful for blocking malicious users, with repeat brute force hack attempts. Webmasters now have the ability to stop these potential password thieves from stealing valuable bandwidth and CPU resources.
To utilize this feature, webmasters should simply enter the full or partial IP address on the “Permanent IP Address Ban” page of The Adult Interface administration system. The webmaster must also click the “verify” checkbox to confirm the addition of the permanent IP address ban. It is important the webmaster double check the IP address and the format of the IP address, as incorrect values may throw an internal server error to both members and the administrator.
